MIT RAISE (Responsible AI for Social Empowerment and Education) is an initiative based in the MIT Media Lab, working jointly with the MIT Schwarzman College of Computing and MIT Open Learning to advance AI education and research. Its mission is to empower everyone to use AI thoughtfully and with positive impact.
The i2 Learning Foundation is a nonprofit dedicated to K-12 education, established in 2012 to prepare students for the future. It began by bringing hands-on STEM programs to middle schools and, with the launch of Day of AI in 2021, has expanded to advance AI literacy programs nationwide.
In 2025, New Uzbekistan University, in partnership with Day of AI, launched the Day of AI Uzbekistan initiative. This program is designed to strengthen national efforts in advancing artificial intelligence literacy among school students. Within the framework of the initiative, professors from New Uzbekistan University conduct teacher training programs for IT teachers from public schools across all regions, equipping them with the knowledge and pedagogical skills required to effectively deliver Day of AI materials to their students. Furthermore, the initiative envisions the systematic integration of Day of AI resources into the public schools, thereby ensuring sustainable implementation and long-term impact on AI education nationwide.
